Battle reports
The word “Defeat” is not the explanation.
The report tells you what each hero and troop group contributed. Open the details before spending anything to “fix” the loss.
Read these four things
- Who survived?
- Who dealt the damage?
- Who absorbed damage or healed?
- What troop, research, Gear or capacity advantage did the opponent have?
Translate the numbers
| What you see | Likely question | Possible response |
|---|---|---|
| Tank dies immediately | Is the front line underdeveloped or badly positioned? | Test survivability Gear, research or a different front hero |
| Main damage hero contributes little | Did it die early, miss synergy or face a counter? | Protect it, inspect Skills and compare targeting |
| Team survives but cannot finish | Is damage too low? | Improve the main damage dealer or offensive synergy |
| Healer has low damage | Did it still heal or protect effectively? | Judge the assigned job, not the wrong scoreboard |
| Opponent has fewer total Power but wins | Was more of its investment inside this march? | Compare exact heroes, troops, capacity, Gear and research |
| Losses are much worse than expected | What casualty rules applied? | Inspect wounded, enlisted and dead categories before fighting again |
The clean A/B test
- Pick a repeatable opponent near your level.
- Save or screenshot the first report.
- Change one variable: one position, hero, Skill or Gear piece.
- Repeat the fight.
- Compare damage dealt, damage taken, healing and survival—not only win or loss.
One fight is evidence, not a universal lawSkill timing and opponent matchups can vary. Repeat close tests before declaring that one hero is “trash” or one formation is unbeatable.

Why not judge by total Power?
Total Power includes many things outside the fight. The report isolates what entered this battle. Use total Power to understand account scale; use the report to diagnose combat.
Can reports reveal the opponent's setup?
Detailed reports may show heroes, equipment, troop types, rally size, research and other combat systems. Available detail can vary by battle type, so open every expandable section.
