Rallies
Joining is easy. Joining correctly is a team sport.
A rally combines several members for one target. Your first job is not to improvise; it is to follow the caller's target, timing and troop instructions.
When someone says “join rally”
- Open the rally and confirm the correct target.
- Read alliance chat or markers for troop and hero instructions.
- Send the strongest appropriate march you can spare.
- Make sure your travel time beats the countdown.
- Do not launch a competing rally unless leadership asked for one.
Good rally member behavior
| Do | Do not |
|---|---|
| Follow the named caller | Attack the same target solo because you became excited |
| Match requested troop type or tier | Send random leftovers without checking |
| Join early enough to arrive | Occupy a slot you cannot reach in time |
| Watch for cancellation or retargeting | Put the phone down immediately after joining |
| Report scouting or battle information | Hide a bad report because losing felt awkward |
Before you start a rally
- Confirm the target and whether attacking it is allowed.
- Check alliance agreements, event rules and remaining attempts.
- Choose a countdown teammates can actually make.
- State the required march, troop type or limit in chat.
- Know the cost of losing—wounded, dead, attempts, stamina or seasonal resources.
A rally is not automatically safeCasualty rules depend on the event. In Season I, Oil Clash uses your real troops according to player reports, so read the live rules and leadership instructions before committing.
Whose bonuses control the rally?
Rally calculations can vary by mode and update. Do not rely on a universal answer from another game. Inspect the current event rules and completed report to see which leader, participants, heroes and bonuses were counted.
What should weaker players send?
Whatever the rally caller requests. Sometimes full strength is best; sometimes a specific troop type, smaller march, reinforcement or separate objective creates more value. Reliable obedience often helps more than an independent heroic charge.
