Build March 1
Your best five get first dibs.
March 1 is the team you use for your hardest Arena fight, strongest infected, important rally and serious PvP. It should receive most scarce hero investment until it clearly works.
Choose your five
- One or two durable front-line heroes.
- One reliable main damage dealer.
- One healer, protector or useful support.
- Fill remaining spots with damage or team synergy.
- Use heroes you can actually develop—not five future dreams at three stars.
What each job means
| Job | What you want to see | Common mistake |
|---|---|---|
| Tank | Survives pressure through health, defense, shields, reduction or self-healing | Judging the tank by low damage |
| Damage | Consistently deals meaningful damage before dying | Putting a fragile attacker in front |
| Support | Heals, shields, buffs allies, weakens enemies or improves team timing | Ignoring value because the damage number is small |
| Flexible | Fills a missing job or completes a useful faction/role bonus | Choosing only by displayed Power |
Investment order
- Keep all five usable. Level them and give them functional equipment.
- Secure the front line. Your damage cannot work after the team collapses.
- Build the main damage dealer. Survival without damage is a slow-motion loss.
- Improve support breakpoints. Stronger healing, protection or buffs can lift the whole team.
- Then deepen March 2.
The shiny-new-hero trapA new SSR hero is not automatically stronger than a developed SR or older SSR. Compare what the hero can do today, not what it might do after 600 fragments and a small mortgage.

Should all five heroes share a faction?
Faction or role bonuses can be valuable, but do not destroy a functional team merely to make icons match. Compare the listed bonus with the Skills and development you would lose. A strong tank, damage dealer and support with partial synergy may outperform a perfect badge bonus full of weak heroes.
