Heroes & combat
Build one scary march before three mediocre ones.
A fight uses the heroes, troops, Gear and bonuses you actually send. Your backup heroes and troops sitting at home can raise Power, but they cannot punch anyone from the couch.
The combat plan in six sentences
- Choose your best five heroes as March 1.
- Put durable heroes in front and protect damage and support heroes behind them.
- Give scarce upgrades to March 1 first.
- Match Gear statistics to the hero's job.
- Train and upgrade the best troop tier you can sustain.
- Read the report after every important fight.

Do not chase a hero name without contextA hero can be excellent and still be a bad next investment for your account. Current star level, Skills, Gear, role, faction bonuses and the four teammates all matter.
The upgrade filter
Before using rare fragments, Skill books, Gear materials or Signature tokens, ask:
- Is this hero in March 1?
- Does the upgrade reach a meaningful Skill, star or Gear breakpoint?
- Does this hero perform an important job?
- Can I test the result in a repeatable fight?
What is officially confirmed?
FunPlus describes heroes as leaders assigned to command trained units, with leadership bonuses and active and passive Skills. The exact best lineup is not permanently official; balance updates and new heroes can change it.
