Gathering
Make your offline time do chores.
A march sitting at home while you sleep gathers exactly zero of everything. Send your spare marches to the resource you will need next.
Before you close the game
- Check the cost of your next building or research.
- Find the resource you are shortest on.
- Split available gatherers across suitable resource tiles.
- Choose tiles that will keep them busy for most of your offline time.
- Leave your main march home only if your alliance expects combat or defense.
Choose the right tile

Gathering boosts: buy or skip?
Use a boost when the extra resources are worth more to you than its gem cost and your marches will gather long enough to benefit. Do not automatically buy a 600-gem boost every night just because another player does.
Check safety firstDuring hostile events, marches far from home can be unavailable when you need them. Follow alliance instructions and avoid risky tiles or contested territory.
Easy mistakes
- Gathering whatever appears first instead of the resource needed next.
- Sending one giant march while other march slots sit empty.
- Choosing a tiny tile before eight hours offline.
- Spending premium currency on a boost with no plan.
- Ignoring alliance resource nodes or territory bonuses when available.
Should I send heroes separately?
If the game lets you use several marches, more active gathering marches usually collect more total resources than leaving slots idle. Keep enough combat strength available for current alliance instructions, and avoid weakening a scheduled rally team at the wrong time.
