Tiles Survive! Field Manual
Build & Grow · v0.5

Survivors & electricity

Keep the tiny people fed, rested and working.

Settlement production depends on survivors doing the right jobs and buildings having power. You do not need to supervise every sandwich; you do need to fix warning icons.

The two-minute Settlement check

  1. Look for buildings with no power.
  2. Check for empty job slots in important production buildings.
  3. Check food and basic survivor needs.
  4. Move or assign survivors where production has stopped.
  5. Upgrade electricity, housing or production only when the screen shows a real shortage.

If you see this, do this

Think like a tired managerPower, people, inputs and storage: when production stops, one of those four is usually the culprit.

Job priority when workers are limited

  1. The resource blocking your next important upgrade
  2. Food and other needs required to keep the Settlement functioning
  3. Power and inputs that support active production
  4. Everything else
Do I need to optimize every survivor constantly?

No. Correct obvious shortages and place suitable survivors in important jobs, then let the system work. Revisit assignments when you unlock a stronger survivor, open a major building or see a production warning.

What is officially confirmed?

FunPlus describes assigning survivors to the right jobs and keeping power steady as core Settlement mechanics. The App Store and Google Play descriptions also state that connecting electricity speeds production.
