Resources & speedups

Save flexible items. Spend with a reason.

The goal is not to hoard forever. The goal is to avoid turning rare, flexible items into five minutes of progress you did not need.

Use this order

  1. Spend resources already exposed in your account.
  2. Claim alliance help and free reductions.
  3. Use the speedup made for that job.
  4. Open only enough bagged resources to cover the shortfall.
  5. Use general speedups last.

What to save—and what to use

ItemSimple ruleWhy
Bagged resource boxesOpen only when paying for an upgradeBagged resources are flexible and generally less exposed.
Construction speedupsUse on planned construction after alliance helpThey cannot solve research or healing.
Research speedupsUse on a planned research pathPermanent upgrades are a strong use—especially with event rewards.
Training speedupsUse for troop goals, events or emergency rebuildingDo not create more troops than your resources and Hospital strategy can support.
Healing speedupsSave a reserve for actual warsA peaceful Tuesday rarely needs your emergency kit.
General speedupsUse lastFlexibility is valuable because they can repair any timer problem.
Stamina cansUse when an event or coordinated rally session adds valueNaturally refilling stamina should not sit capped while cans are spent.

The three-question spending test

  1. What does finishing now unlock?
  2. Am I also earning a useful event reward?
  3. What flexible item will I wish I still had tomorrow?
Do not empty the bag to look richOpening every resource box makes the totals prettier, but it removes your ability to choose later and can expose more resources than you need.

Advice by spending level

F2P / low spend

Protect flexibility

Time is your main currency. Keep queues busy, gather while away and stack event rewards onto upgrades you already needed.

Mid spend

Buy bottlenecks, not clutter

Use a budget to remove a meaningful wall. Ten small impulse packs often solve less than one planned purchase.

High spend

Efficiency still matters

Money shortens timers; it does not repair scattered priorities. Finish valuable breakpoints before opening the next project.

Should I wait for an event before upgrading?

Stacking planned growth with an event is smart. Leaving a permanent queue empty for days is not. Start useful long timers now; save optional instant completions and flexible materials for matching events when the delay is small.
